The last type is the classical guitar. Unlike the other three, which contain steel strings, the classical guitars comes with the thin nylon made strings. Do not get confused with the acoustic, as they look alike. The major difference lies in their length, and classical guitars are very small when compared to the acoustic. This is the reason they are mostly used for training children as, it's very easy to carry and handle. The fret board of the classical guitar is also flat and broader than the acoustic. Such guitars are also popularly known as Flamenco, Spanish or nylon guitars. gibson sg
