The most obvious advantage of sliding wardrobes is that they do not take up as much potential space as regular wardrobes; the phrase 'potential space' essentially refers to the space in which a regular wardrobe would open its doors out, thus taking up room without actually being used, something that is very annoying someone wanting to save space in their bedroom, or any other room for that matter.
